NBA veteran guard CJ McCollum is a very busy man.

Last September, while he was still playing for the Portland Trailblazers, the team which originally drafted him with the 10th overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft, McCollum revealed that he and his wife, Elise, purchased land in Oregon for a vineyard.

That made McCollum the first active NBA player to own a vineyard.

It was the next logical step after launching his McCollum Heritage 91 wine brand the year prior.

On top of all that, he had a season to play in, one that saw him traded to the New Orleans Pelicans in February. There he helped lead the team to the playoffs against the Phoenix Suns as the eighth seed.

Now he’s added NBA Analyst as a new job.

Yesterday, the network announced that they signed McCollum to a multiplatform deal and he will make his network debut on Thursday during “NBA Finals: Celebrating 75” on ESPN2.

“I am excited to bring what I feel is my unique perspective, based on my vast knowledge of the game that I’ve gained during my nine years as a player in the NBA,” said McCollum in a statement. “To have an opportunity to put my journalism background to use on the largest stage with the many talented professionals at ESPN is a dream come true.”

McCollum graduated from Lehigh University with a journalism degree and has had prior analyst stints on ESPN.
