DeAndre Ayton had an impressive showing at the Las Vegas Summer League — showing why he selected first overall by Phoenix. But many eyes will also be on Mavs rookie Luka Doncic. The Slovenian prodigy is a mystery to a lot of fans who did not get to see him play in Europe.
But in a recent ESPN poll, experts overwhelmingly picked Doncic to win the Rookie of the Year award. Vegas oddsmakers also list Doncic as the pre-season favorite to take home the honor.
